• Old School WWF Gimmicks Returned At MLW Event
Earlier this month, Major League Wrestling held MLW Battle Riot III and later aired it.
This event featured a 41-Man Battle Riot match, a Battle Royal variant, with the winner becoming the new No. 1 Contender for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
The 41 entrants included several familiar names from the good old days, including:
– #14 Savio Vega
– #23 Kim Chee (not portrayed by Steve Lombardi)
– #31 The Blue Meanie
– #37 Kwang (Savio Vega entering again, using his alter-ego)
Major League Wrestling was originally a promotion that existed from 2002 to 2004 and had many Old School WCW & ECW Veterans on their roster.
The company was brought back in 2017 and is still promoting TV shows these days.
