On this day in Pro Wrestling history in 2000, Lita & Stephanie McMahon made history on WWF Raw Is War.
Lita and Stephanie McMahon battled for the WWF Women’s Championship in the main event of Raw, with The Rock as special guest referee.
This was the first time ever in the history of Raw that women main evented the show. Lita defeated Stephanie McMahon to win her 1st Women’s Title. Also, Shane McMahon became the new WWF Hardcore Champion when he defeated Steve Blackman. Below are the results from the show:
