• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Legendary Old School WWF Veteran Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (Real name: Ed Leslie) celebrates his birthday today.
Brutus Beefcake wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1984 till 1993, before joining Ted Turner’s WCW, worked for from 1994 until 1999.
During his time in WCW, Ed portrayed several different characters, such as Brother Bruti, The Butcher, The Man With No Name, The Zodiac, The Booty Man and The Disciple.
In 2019 he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his life-long friend “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan.

• Old School ECW Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the birthday of Old School ECW Veteran Axl Rotten (Real name: Brian Knighton).
Rotten wrestled for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling (fka Eastern Championship Wrestling) promotion from its early beginnings in 1993 till he left in 1999.
While he did not win any championships during his time in ECW, his memorable rivalry against his (kayfabe/storyline) brother Ian Rotten, won Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “PWI Feud of the Year” in 1995.
