• Old School WWF Celebrity Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the birthday of Old School World Wrestling Federation Celebrity Russ Francis.

NFL Legend Russ Francis became famous as a Tight end for the New England Patriots and later even won the 1985 Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers.

In 1986 Francis was an official entrant in the 20-man ‘NFL vs. WWF’ battle royal at WrestleMania 2 and later he also wrestled a match for Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association.

His father Ed Francis used to be a professional wrestler and was also a well known wrestling promoter Hawaii.

Old School World Wrestling Federation Celebrity Jennie Garth celebrates her birthday today.

Actress Jennie Garth became a world famous star for her role as Kelly in Beverly Hills 90210 from 1990 until 2000 and again from 2008 till 2010.

Old School WWF Fans also remember her as the special celebrity guest timekeeper for the main event of the WrestleManix X PPV.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (April 3, 2012) – A WWF Legend Passed Away

On this day in 2012, we lost Old School (W)WWF Legend ‘Chief’ Jay Strongbow (Real name: Luke Scarpa) at the age of 83.

“Chief” Jay Strongbow wrestled for the World Wide Wrestling Federation from 1970 until 1977 and again for the now renamed World Wrestling Federation from 1979 till 1983, before he became a road agent for them.

The former 4 time (W)WWF World Tag Team Champion was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1994 by Gorilla Monsoon.
