• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (April 4, 2020) – WWE WrestleMania 36 NIGHT 1  *UNDERTAKER & GOLDBERG IN ACTION*

On this day in Pro Wrestling history (April 4, 2020) World Wrestling Entertainment aired ‘WrestleMania 36 – Night 1’ on PPV (WWE Network) from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The entire content of WrestleMania Night 1 & 2 was taped on March 25, 2020 & March 26, 2020.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, there were no fans allowed and the event took place without an actual crowd.

This was also the first ever 2 night event in WrestleMania history (since it first started in 1985).

It featured WCW Legend Bill Goldberg defending his Universal Championship to Roman Reigns’ replacement Braun Strowman, as well as WWF Legend The Undertaker’s final match of his long, illustrious career.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) defeated Shayna Baszler

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn (c) defeated Daniel Bryan

Ladder match – WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: John Morrison (c) defeated Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston (c)

No DQ: Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins

WWE Universal Championship: Braun Strowman defeated Goldberg (c)

Boneyard match: The Undertaker defeated AJ Styles
