On this day in 2000, WWF Attitude Era Superstar The Rock appeared in one of his earliest acting roles, when he played the character of the Pendari Champion in the 15th episode of the 6th season of “Star Trek: Voyager”, titled “Tsunkatse”.

UPN promoted this episode as a crossover between WWF SmackDown! and Star Trek Voyager, which resulted in the highest rating of that Voyager season, drawing a 4.1 Nielsen rating.

Nowadays “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson is considered to be one of the highest paid actors in all of Hollywood.


• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (February 9, 1980) – WWF Philadelphia House Show

On this day in Pro Wrestling history in 1980, the World Wrestling Federation held a televised house show at the Philadelphia Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This event aired on the PRISM Network and featured Vince McMahon & Dick Graham on commentary.
