• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the birthday of Old School WWWF/WWF Legend ‘The Golden Boy’ Arnold Skaaland.
After retiring from active professional wrestling, Arnold became a manager in the World Wrestling Federation, most famously remembered for throwing the towel to end Bob Backlund’s long reign as the WWF World Heavyweight Champion.
In 1994 he was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame (now being called WWE Hall of Fame) by his former protégé and friend Bob Backlund.

• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Legend ‘Polish Power’ Ivan Putski (Real name: Józef Bednarski) celebrates his birthday today.
Putski wrestled for the World Wide Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Federation from 1974 till 1987.
He was honored for his career by his son inducting him into the WWF Hall of Fame (now WWE Hall of Fame) in 1995.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (January 21, 1985) – Old School Wrestling Legend Passed Away
On this day in 1985, we lost Old School Wrestling Legend Eddie Graham (Real name: Edward Gossett) at the age of 55 due to a multiple gunshot suicide.
Most people remember him for being the ‘Championship Wrestling from Florida’ (CWF) promoter from 1971 till he committed suicide in 1985.
Unfortunately his son, Old School Wrestling Veteran Mike Graham (in 2012) and his grandson (in 2010) committed suicide in a similar way as him.
In 2008 Eddie was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.
