• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Sniper (Real name: Luc Poirier) celebrates his birthday today.

Most of us remember Poirier as Sniper, who was a member of the World Wrestling Federation faction ‘The Truth Commission’ in 1997 & 1998, but he was also a pretty big star in europe, where he was known as Rambo.

While he didn’t achieve much success, if any at all, during his WWF days, Rambo did become a 4 time CWA World Heavyweight Champion in AWA Legend Otto Wanz’s Catch Wrestling Association, which used to be Europe’s biggest promotion back in the day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SNIPER!

• Old School WCW Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the birthday of Old School Wrestling Veteran Silver King (Real name: César Cuauhtémoc González Barrón).

If you were watching Ted Turner’s WCW TV during the famous Monday Night Wars, you will most likely remember him as one of the luchadores that were part of the Cruiserweight Division.

Silver King lasted from 1997 till 2000, before he returned to his home country Mexico.

He died from a heart attack while working a match in the UK in 2019 and was later posthumously inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame.
