• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Legend ‘I.R.S.’ Irwin R. Schyster (Real name: Lawrence Michael Rotunda) celebrates his birthday today.

As Mike Rotundo he won the WWF World Tag Team Championship in 1984 with Barry Windham as “The U.S. Express”, before losing it to The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff at WrestleMania I.

After some time in Jim Crockett Promotions / World Championship Wrestling, where he was known as Captain Mike Rotunda and Michael Wallstreet, he returned to the World Wrestling Federation in 1991 as the evil tax collector from Washington D.C., Irwin R. Schyster.

With his new Tag Team Partner The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase he formed ‘Money Inc.’ and they won the WWF Tag Team titles multiple times, before DiBiase retired due to an injury and former his own Heel Stable “The Million Dollar Corporation”, which I.R.S. was a member of, till he left the WWF for WCW in 1995.

In 2024 he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as one half of the U.S. Express.

• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School Wrestling Legend ‘Rugged’ Ronnie Garvin (Real name: Roger Barnes) celebrates his birthday today.

Garvin wrestled during the 60s, 70s, 80s & early 90s, and worked for several territories / promotions during his career, such as Jim Crockett Promotions, International Championship Wrestling , Georgia Championship Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Florida, the American Wrestling Association, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation.

By far Garvin’s biggest accomplishment was winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair on September 25, 1987.

Ron is the stepfather of Fabulous Freebirds member “Gorgeous” Jimmy “Jam” Garvin, but was not related to his kayfabe/storyline brother Terry Garvin.

He has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, which many experts do believe, will happen eventually.

• Old School WWF Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the birthday of Old School WWF Veteran ‘S.D.’ Special Delivery Jones (Real name: Conrad Efraim).

S.D. Jones was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz and eventually became known as one of the most famous babyface ‘Jobber To The Stars’ of all time.

He wrestled mostly for the World Wrestling Federation during the 70s & 80s and did his last televised WWF jobs in 1990.

S.D. Jones passed away on October 26, 2008 after suffering a stroke 2 days earlier.

In 2019 he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of their annual Legacy Wing inductions.
