• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (March 3, 2016) – Old School Wrestling Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2016, we lost Old School Japanese Hardcore Wrestling Superstar Hayabusa at the age of 47 due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Hayabusa mainly wrestled in Japan (FMW, …) and Mexico, but also appeared in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling once, when he joined Jinsei Shinzaki (WWF’s Hakushi) to take on the team of Rob Van Dam & Sabu at the ‘ECW Heat Wave 1998’ PPV.

His pro wrestling career ended when he was paralyzed after a botched Moonsault in 2001.
