• Old School WCW Wrestler Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WCW Wrestler Jimmy Yang (Real name: James Yun) celebrates his birthday today.
Jimmy Yang had his debut for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in early 2000, when he became a member of The Jung Dragons, alongside Jamie-San (Jamie Knoble), Leia Meow (ECW’s Kimona Wanalaya) & Kaz Hayashi.
He stayed with the promotion until they were bought by Vince McMahon in March of 2001, but – after a short stint in TNA as a member of The Flying Elvises – later made a name for himself in World Wrestling Entertainment as “Akio” and later “Jimmy Wang Yang”.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIMMY YANG!

• Old School WCW Celebrity Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WCW Celebrity “The Worm” Dennis Rodman celebrates his birthday today.
After 5 NBA championships, Dennis Rodman became a very famous Basketball Legend, who also played lead roles in several movies and dated some famous women, such as Madonna and Carmen Electra.
During his infamous NBA suspension, as well as during various off-seasons The Worm often showed up in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling between 1995 and 1999, and even wrestled quite a few professional wrestling matches for the promotion in those years.
As a real life friend of Hulk Hogan, Rodman also became a member of the New World Order in 1997 & 1998.
He would certainly deserve to be inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame (considering other Celebrities – who did a lot less in pro wrestling – are in there), but due to his controversial friendship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, that might not happen any time soon.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENNIS RODMAN!

During his time in WCW he feuded with Mortis (Kanyon) & Wrath (WWF’s Adam Bomb), who were managed by James Vandenberg (Sinister Minister aka Father James Mitchell), but also had some help from Ernest “The Cat” Miller.
