• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WCW/WWF Legend Faarooq aka Ron Simmons celebrates his birthday today. DAMN!
WCW Executive Vice President Bill Watts made him the first ever black World Heavyweight Champion in 1992, before Simmons joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1996 as Faarooq Asaad.
Faarooq eventually became the leader of the controversial faction Nation of Domination and later formed a Tag Team with Bradshaw (now known as JBL), called The Acolytes aka The A.P.A.!
In 2012 Simmons was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his former Tag Team partner.

Old School Wrestling Legend Kevin Von Erich (Real name: Kevin Adkisson) celebrates his birthday today.
Kevin Von Erich’s father was the legendary World Class Championship Wrestling promoter Fritz Von Erich, while his brothers were “The Texas Tornado” Kerry Von Erich, David Von Erich, Mike Von Erich & Chris Von Erich.
Together they were inducted into the 2009 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame by their long-time on-screen rival and close personal friend Michael “P.S.” Hayes
