• Old School ECW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School ECW Veteran “The King of Old School” Steve Corino celebrates his birthday today.

Steve wrestled for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1998 till January 2001, including a 2 month run as the ECW World Heavyweight Champion.

Corino was already signed to a World Championship Wrestling contract right after leaving ECW, but never got to make an appearance, before Vince McMahon bought the company in march and released him from the contract.

He then appeared for several minor promotions, such as Ring of Honor, Extreme Rising, NWA Florida, World Wrestling Council, Zero1 and Major League Wrestling.

• Old School WWF Attitude Era Veteran celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Attitude Era Veteran Pete Gas (Real name: Peter Gasparino) celebrates his birthday today.

Pete Gas is a legitimate Highschool friend of Vince McMahon’s son, fellow Attitude Era Veteran Shane McMahon.

Pete wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from early 1999 till mid-2000, forming “The Mean Street Posse” with Rodney & Joey Abs.

The last time we saw him, he was an entrant in an old school themed “15th Anniversary Battle Royal” on RAW in 2007.

• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Headshrinker Samu (Real name: Samula Anoa’i) celebrates his birthday today.

Samu first wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation in 1983 & 1984 as “Samula”, the 3rd member of The Wild Samoans, alongside his father Afa and his uncle Sika.

From late 1988 till the summer of 1990, Samu wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, where he teamed up with his cousins Fatu (later known as Rikishi) and The Samoan Savage (formerly known as Tama / The Tonga Kid) as “The Samoan SWAT Team”.

He again formed a Tag Team with Fatu, when they returned to the WWF in 1992 as “The Headshrinkers”, managed by his father Afa.
