Old School WWF Attitude Era Legend “The People’s Champion” The Rock (Real name: Dwayne Johnson) celebrates his birthday today.
The Rock had his World Wrestling Federation debut at the Survivor Series 1996 PPV (at that time as “Rocky Maivia”) and wrestled for them full-time until 2002, but returned for storylines & matches in 2003, 2004, 2011, 2012 & 2013.
Nowadays Dwayne Johnson is among the #1 actors in Hollywood and almost everyone on the planet knows who he is.
Rumors have it, that The Rock considers running for president at some point in the future, and with being one of the most charismatic & lovable people on the planet, it’s safe to say that he would have more than just a big chance of winning whatever election he competes in.

• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the birthday of Old School WWF Legend The Big Boss Man (Real name: Ray Traylor).
The Big Boss Man most famously wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1988 until 1993, including a Tag Team run with Akeem as The Twin Towers between ’88 and ’90.
Traylor also wrestled for the rival companies UWF/NWA(JCP)/WCW under the names of Big Bubba Rogers, The Guardian Angel, The Boss and also under his real name.
In 2016 The Boss Man was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his 1988-1990 WWF manager Slick.

• Old School WWF Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the birthday of Old School WWF Veteran Moondog Rex (Real name: Randy Colley).
Most Old School Wrestling fans remember Moondog Rex as one half of the famous 70s/80s/90s Tag Team “The Moondogs”.
The Moondogs won the WWWF World Tag Team Championship in 1981 from Martel & Garea, but during their reign Moondog Rex’s Tag Team partner Moondog King was replaced by Moondog Spot.
In 1990 & 1991 Colley wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling as Moondog Rex, but later also appeared as Deadeye Dick of The Desperados.

• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the birthday of National Wrestling Alliance Veteran Don Kernodle.
Most early 80s Wrestling fans remember the former multiple time Tag Team Champion as a member of the ‘Cobra Corps’ faction, alongside Pvt. Jim Nelson (later known as Boris Zhukov) & Sgt. Slaughter.
However, not many fans remember that he also had a brief stint with the World Wrestling Federation in 1982 & 1983, before returning to Jim Crockett Promotions.
