During an episode of his ‘The Snake Pit’ podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW manager Jake Roberts praised fellow WWF Veteran Dustin Rhodes (who also works in All Elite Wrestling).

Jake called Dustin (fka Goldust) one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time. Here’s what he said:

“Dustin Rhodes is probably one of the most underrated wrestlers out there. He can do it all. He’s been doing it all for years. He gets right there close to the top, but never quite gets it all. And they miss the boat. Sometimes your best workers aren’t the guys in the main event.

He pretty much runs all the women’s stuff. That’s just, he’s done an incredible job, unbelievable job. It’s just like his ringwork. Unbelievable, incredible.

So what are you going to do? He’s very fortunate to be in that spot, and there ain’t nobody that’s going to succeed him unless he wants to get out, ’cause those girls love him. They love him to death, man.”

Dustin Rhodes is a legendary professional wrestler with a career spanning over three decades. Son of wrestling icon Dusty Rhodes, Dustin debuted in 1988 and became known for his versatility and longevity in the industry.

His most famous character, Goldust, introduced in the mid-90s in the WWF, was a provocative, boundary-pushing persona that helped him stand out. Over the years, Rhodes competed in WWE, WCW, and TNA, earning multiple championships, including the Intercontinental and Tag Team Titles. Later in his career, he showcased his skills in AEW, where he continued to impress with both in-ring performances and mentorship roles.

Known for his technical ability, charisma, and ability to reinvent himself, Dustin Rhodes remains a respected figure in wrestling history.
