Opening & Closing Matches For Bad Blood

Cody Rhodes And Roman Reigns 5 Bad Blood Hell In A Cell WrestleFeed App

According to PWInsider, CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell will open Bad Blood, and Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline will close the PLE.

PWN later provided the following order of matches for Bad Blood 2024:

1. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match

2. Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship

3. Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor

4. Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship

5. Roman Reigns & Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Cody Rhodes revealed that his match will have WWE Championship implications at Crown Jewel, which is the next PLE on November 2:

“The title is not on the line, but there is something that happens at Bad Blood, I guess a video package or a vignette that’s going to play in the show.

I gotta keep it vague, but there are title implications for Crown Jewel moving past. Sorry for being so vague. A little spoiler there.”

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s marching band will perform Cody’s entrance at this PLE.

Bad Blood will have an earlier start time than usual, scheduled for 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST on October 5, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Typically, WWE’s Premium Live Events begin at 8 PM ET. WWE changed the timing to avoid a scheduling conflict with UFC 307, which airs on the same night. With the new timing, WWE’s PLE will be over before UFC 307’s main PPV card begins.

Below is the card for the UFC 307 PPV:

– Alex Pereira (c) vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship

– Raquel Pennington (c) vs. Julianna Peña for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship

– José Aldo vs. Mario Bautista

– Kayla Harrison vs. Ketlen Vieira

– Kevin Holland vs. Roman Dolidze
