• Original Plan For Liv Morgan At Night Of Champions

Liv Morgan is out of action after dislocating her shoulder during her match with Kairi Sane on the June 16th episode of RAW. The injury has left her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, without a teammate. However, WWE reportedly has no intention of vacating the Women’s Tag Team Titles. According to PWInsider, the company is considering former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez as a possible replacement. The report describes her as a “heavy favorite” to step in alongside Rodriguez and carry the titles forward.

In an update from Bodyslam, Liv was originally scheduled to face IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. As previously reported, Liv will undergo surgery and will miss the rest of 2025.

• SmackDown Star Expected To Get A Main Event Push Soon

Aleister Black is on the verge of a major push on SmackDown, as internal support for the former NXT Champion continues to grow. PWInsider reports that there’s been a noticeable shift within WWE’s creative team, with more and more voices backing Black for a move up the card. Conversations backstage have recently focused on getting him more heavily involved in main event-level storylines.

Since returning to WWE on SmackDown after WrestleMania 41, WWE officials are said to be happy with Black’s merchandise performance, which adds even more reason to elevate his status.

On last week’s SmackDown, it looked like Black started a feud with R-Truth aka Ron Killings. Black came out to face Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly, but R-Truth attacked Wilson and then called out John Cena. Black confronted Truth backstage. Truth said it wasn’t personal. Damian Priest had to intervene to calm things down.

• AEW Collision Spoilers – Bryan Danielson Wins A Match After The Tapings

After this week’s Dynamite went off the air, All Elite Wrestling taped tonight’s special Thursday episode of AEW Collision. Below are the spoilers (featuring Bryan Danielson at the end of the show):

– FTR and The Outrunners came face-to-face in the ring to address their recent issues. As a gesture, FTR presented The Outrunners with a “gift” — a video showcasing FTR’s career highlights. The Outrunners then challenged them to a match, but Stokely Hathaway stepped in to announce that the bout would happen on FTR’s terms – next week on the 300th episode of Dynamite.

– Christian Cage & ROH TV Champion Nick Wayne def. Big Bill & Bryan Keith

– Brody King & Templario def. Rocky Romero & Hechicero

– Mercedes Moné referred to AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm as a “mark” just like the fans and dismissed her as merely an act. Moné mentioned that her match on Dynamite 300 next week against Mina Shirakawa would mark her 1000th career bout and warned Storm to pay close attention. Storm responded with a promo of her own, but was interrupted by Shirakawa, who declared that she plans to beat Moné for the TBS Women’s Championship.

– Megan Bayne def. VertVixen

– Adam Cole (c) def. Josh Alexander to retain the TNT Championship

– Queen Aminata def. Skye Blue

Skye, Julia Hart and Thekla attacked Aminata after the match, which led to Tay Conti and Anna Jay making the save.

– Christian Cage told MVP that he and Nick Wayne are coming for Hurt Syndicate’s AEW World Tag Team Titles.

– Kyle Fletcher def. Kyle O’Reilly

Lance Archer attacked O’Reilly after the match, which led to Adam Cole and Roderick Strong of The Paragon making the save.

After the taping ended, O’Reilly addressed the crowd, which led to Max Caster coming out to issue an open challenge, which was answered by Bryan Danielson.

Cole superkicked Caster. Bryan then locked in the LeBell Lock on Caster and made him tap out in 10 seconds to win the match. Bryan then joked about joining The Paragon for one night and going by the name of “Kyle Danielson”. The night came to an end after The Final Countdown played.
