After an injury angle on NXT, WWE announced that Rhea Ripley sustained a fractured right orbital socket.

Fans saw Women’s World Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in a backstage segment holding baseball bats, suggesting they had attacked Ripley. She was shown lying beside her car with a cut on her head and fake blood streaming down.

The injury is legitimate and reportedly occurred during a headbutt spot on the October 21st episode of RAW.

Due to this injury, Ripley has been pulled from this Sunday’s RAW taping in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE’s Crown Jewel plans were altered as Ripley was set to face Raquel Rodriguez in a singles match.

Although not officially confirmed, it appears the Fatal 4-Way Women’s Tag Team Title match took its place.
