• Original Plan For Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn
At this Saturday’s Elimination Chamber 2023 premium live event, Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the original plan for this match was for Reigns to defeat Zayn and Jey Uso to turn on Zayn.
This would’ve led to The Usos vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39.
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman informed Jimmy Uso that Roman Reigns wants The Usos to stay at home this week, and watch the show on TV.
