• Original Plan For WWE Championship Match At WrestleMania 37
In the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 36, Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship.
According to The Dirty Sheets patreon page, the original plan for WrestleMania 37 was Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Championship against Aleister Black.
This was the plan because then RAW Executive Director, Paul Heyman, was very high on Black, and that’s why Black was being booked very strong on WWE programming.
However, this plan got scrapped when Heyman was removed from his position and Bruce Prichard took over his role. Prichard isn’t high on Black and the former NXT Champion will no longer be involved in the WWE Title picture during the WrestleMania 37 season.

On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.
It was broadcasted from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana and featured matches, interviews & segments, on the road to the ‘WWF No Mercy 2001’ PPV.
