• Originally Planned WrestleMania 35 Match Nixed, Update On New WrestleMania 35 Title Match

As seen on last night’s episode of SmackDown, Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship was officially announced for WrestleMania 35. Mysterio’s son, Dominic, will be ringside for this match.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE had originally planned Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade for WrestleMania 35 (which obviously got nixed).

Speaking of WrestleMania 35, SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka’s WrestleMania 35 opponent will be revealed on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
