• Originals Plan For Ronda Rousey’s In-Ring WWE Debut Involved WWF Legends

During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez had the following to say regarding the original plan for Ronda Rousey’s in-ring WWE debut:

“When they first had Ronda Rousey appear at WrestleMania and Stephanie was in the ring with her, they were very clearly setting up a mixed tag. The Rock and Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie. Fine, if that’s what you wanna do. If you can get all of those individuals at the same time that’s a fine match to make.

The Rock’s unavailable or if he is available, I have heard nothing about The Rock at WrestleMania this year in a match. There’s no reason in the world to waste Ronda Rousey on Stephanie McMahon. None, there’s no reason for this. I don’t care how big anyone’s ego is in this company, that’s a stupid match to make.

A singles match, Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon, you couldn’t book a worse match than Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon, it ain’t gonna happen. It’s not going to happen.”
