Below are the results from today’s WWE SmackDown in Italy (which will air in the US at the usual time later), featuring Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins & more.
– Today’s episode of WWE SmackDown, broadcast from the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy, set the stage for a heated WrestleMania 41 clash, kicking off with a surprising challenge. The show opened with the iconic entrance of Randy Orton, whose theme song was met with a thunderous singalong from the Italian crowd. However, Orton’s arrival was quickly interrupted by the entrance of Kevin Owens, who wasted no time in proposing a WrestleMania alliance. Kevin said that he’s sorry for what he did to Randy and wants Randy to forgive him because he’s a human, and made a mistake. Owens then pitched the idea of the two teaming up to challenge The Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 41. He attempted to justify his past actions against Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, but notably acknowledged Orton’s clean record. Despite Owens’ persuasive plea, Orton had a different proposition in mind. Instead of accepting the tag team partnership, Orton issued a direct challenge to Owens, setting the stage for a singles match at WrestleMania 41. This announcement was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction from the Italian audience, who clearly favored a one-on-one encounter. Randy said that Kevin will pay for what he did at WrestleMania, and he further vowed to kick Kevin’s head so hard that he will get a pat on the back from Roberto Baggio. This reference to the legendary Italian footballer added a unique flavor to the challenge, resonating with the local audience and emphasizing the intensity of the upcoming match.

Tiffany said Charlotte is upset because the fans no longer support her, and vowed. to defeat Charlotte at WrestleMania and it will continue to be Tiffy Time.

Jacob isn’t happy about Solo causing the DQ. Solo, Jacob, & Tama continued attacking Strowman, which led to United States Champion LA Knight making the save. With this win, Strowman will face Knight for the US Title next week on SmackDown in London.

Roman said he’s here for another 15-20 minutes, so if anyone wants to confront him, they can come out now. Seth Rollins came out and said Roman messed up. Rollins said Reigns doesn’t know how dangerous Punk is and he should’ve let him finish Punk while he had the chance. Rollins said Reigns and him can’t co-exist and it’s time they add another chapter to their story. Punk came out next. Punk said neither Roman nor Seth have ever beaten him without each other’s help, because they can’t. Punk thanked Heyman for delivering Roman to him on a silver platter tonight.
