• People Backstage In WWE Are Pushing For The Return Of Recently Released Wrestler
WWE recently released the following names from WWE:
– Braun Strowman
– Aleister Black
– Lana
– Murphy
– Ruby Riott
– Santana Garrett
According to PWInsider, some officials backstage in WWE weren’t happy with Black’s release from the company, as he just returned to TV with a new character, and they are pushing to have Black return to the company.
However, the Wrestling Observer reported earlier today that Black is expected to sign with AEW in the coming months:
“While not a done deal, and it can’t be until 8/31, the strong belief is that Tom Budgen, the former Aleister Black, is headed here.”

Black is currently on a 90-day non-compete clause.
