Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Wild Samoan Sika and Money In The Bank.
• WWF Legend Wild Samoan Sika passed away on June 25th at the age of 79. His son, current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, issued the following statement:
“My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola’ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team.
My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us.
There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy.
Rest in Power, Dad. We love you.”

• WWE is preparing for their next Premium Live Event, Money In The Bank, tonight at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event features many anticipated matches, including the Women’s Money in the Bank match with participants IYO SKY, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Zoey Stark.
In an interview with SK Wrestling, Chelsea Green was asked about her husband, Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder in WWE). Green noted that Matt is doing great (he suffered a torn pec injury earlier this year) and confirmed he would be attending the show to support her:
“He’s great. He’s actually on his way here to watch me win Money In The Bank.”
