• Plan For King Of The Ring & Multiple Other Feuds Changed Because Of “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

According to The Dirty Sheets, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt’s popularity has resulted in WWE changing plans for the King Of The Ring 2019 tournament and multiple others feuds.

With Wyatt topping all other superstars in merchandise sales during SummerSlam weekend and drawing big numbers on Social Media, WWE has decided to put The Fiend in the Universal Title picture and book him to win the Title.

Due to this move, a lot of other plans were changed.

The King Of The Ring was booked to give Rollins a credible challenger for the Universal Championship. The original winner was scheduled to be Drew McIntyre. But with The Fiend taking McIntyre’s place in the Universal Title picture, WWE changed plans eliminated McIntyre from the tournament.

McIntyre isn’t involved in any feud right and he has some time to heal a minor injury.

WWE still hasn’t decided the winner of the King Of The Ring tournament and they’re booking it on a week to week basis. Vince McMahon booked Chad Gable and Elias to advance in the King Of The Ring tournament last week on SmackDown just an hour before the show began as he thought everyone was expecting Ali and Andrade to advance.

The Miz was originally scheduled to feud with The Fiend, with puppets from the Firefly Fun House stalking Miz’s daughter. But with Fiend going after the Universal Title, WWE decided to book Miz in a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship. This led to the originally planned Nakamura vs. Ali feud getting cancelled.

Plans for AJ Styles and Ricochet have changed as well. Styles & Ricochet were scheduled to face each other in a United States Title match once again, this time in a Ladder match. But with Ricochet eliminating McIntyre from the King Of The Ring tournament (due to change in plans), Ricochet is still in the tournament and Styles is now feuding with Cedric Alexander.
