1. Planned SummerSlam 2017 Match Postponed

As we noted before, WWE is planning to make this year’s SummerSlam 2017 PPV really big and some big matches have been planned. One of the things that has been planned for this year’s biggest event of the summer is Kurt Angle’s WWE in-ring return.

As we noted before, Angle’s “ruin me” storyline on Raw will eventually result in the return of Stephanie McMahon to WWE programming. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, this will result in Triple H somehow getting involved and eventually the storyline will end up featuring Kurt Angle’s WWE in-ring return, possibly against Triple H.

However, it now looks like Angle’s WWE in-ring return might not happen at SummerSlam 2017. According to reports, WWE officials are looking to go back to their original plan for Angle, where they save his in-ring return for WrestleMania 34.
