• Plans Changed For This Week’s SmackDown Due To Recent Incident, Original Plan Revealed

According to Post Wrestling, the original plan for this week’s SmackDown Live was for SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka to face Sonya Deville in a singles match.

However, the match was nixed after Asuka had an injury scare at a recent WWE Live Event.

You can watch the frightening footage of Asuka almost injuring her neck below:

This led to WWE booking a very short match between Mandy Rose & Naomi, with Asuka attacking Deville & Rose after the match.

Asuka is scheduled to defend the SmackDown Women’s Title against Mandy Rose this Sunday at FastLane 2019 PPV.
