Mr. Iguana’s appearance at WWE Worlds Collide made a strong impression, both with fans and within WWE itself. According to Fightful Select, company officials were very happy with the crowd reaction and are already thinking ahead. Sources close to the situation note that once WWE officials saw the live response to Mr. Iguana at Worlds Collide, the reaction backstage was, “we have to get him to the Intuit Dome for a Money In The Bank appearance.” His energy and performance also translated well online, with an NXT source mentioning there’s already a push happening behind the scenes to get him back in front of WWE fans on TV soon.

Mr. Iguana’s charm wasn’t limited to fans. A lot of WWE wrestlers took pictures with him as well, along with dozens of fans. Higher-ups in the company called him a “pleasure” to work with and appreciated his willingness to handle any media work thrown his way.
On the merchandise side, Mr. Iguana also made an impact. While R-Truth’s newly launched shirt saw strong sales over the weekend, Mr. Iguana’s merchandise also performed surprisingly well. WWE is now looking into how to market him further, including the possibility of selling iguana puppets.

• Change In Plans For Jade Cargill At Evolution 2
WrestleVotes previously reported that WWE was planning to do Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair at Evolution 2. This match was teased on a recent episode of SmackDown. However, it looks like WWE has changed their plans.
In an update, PWInsider is reporting that Cargill is now expected to face Ms. Money In The Bank Naomi in a rematch at Evolution 2. Cargill defeated Naomi at WrestleMania 41. The report also noted that Cargill will be heavily promoted for this PLE.
Evolution 2, which will be WWE’s second all-women’s premium live event, will take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 13.
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bayley is also expected to take place at this event.
