According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, sources within WWE are already preparing for McAfee’s homecoming. While he has been noticeably absent from the broadcast booth to focus on his massive college football and NFL commitments, the timing of these reports aligns perfectly with the road to WrestleMania 42.
The big question remains exactly how he will be used. While fans are used to seeing him alongside Michael Cole on Monday Night RAW, his specific role and schedule have not yet been confirmed.
Whether he returns as a full-time announcer, a part-time personality, or even an occasional in-ring performer, WWE sources are confident that the McAfee era is about to restart.

– Eddie Edwards’ briefcase contained a TNA World Title shot.
– Eric Young’s briefcase contained a TNA X-Division Title shot.
– Trey Miguel’s briefcase contained a TNA International Title shot.
– Steve Maclin got the “Fired” briefcase, which means he will leave TNA.
