As we reported earlier, Bobby Lashley and MVP are on their way out of WWE. Their contracts are set to expire soon and then they’ll be done.
According to the Wrestling Observer, there’s been talks of reuniting The Hurt Business in AEW:
“I know there is talk of them trying to get into AEW. Technically, nobody can talk to them because their contracts haven’t expired, but WWE is under the assumption they are leaving and plan to revamp The Hurt Business.
Whether they’ll use that name depends on ownership rights. They want Shelton Benjamin, who’s also a free agent, to join them. This is something Tony Khan will have to decide, but it’s definitely under consideration.
It’s not a done deal, but it’s alive. As of now, Bobby Lashley and MVP will be gone from WWE when their contracts expire soon.”
MVP recently criticized Triple H for shooting down the idea of reuniting The Hurt Business.
He shared a photo of the group on social media, sparking fan speculation about a potential reunion. However, MVP quickly quashed these rumors by responding to a fan’s comment, stating, “Triple H said no”. He emphasized that the faction is over and that the decision is final according to WWE’s higher-ups.
You can read some of the comments MVP made below:
“Triple H had the power to fix it. He chose not to. Go figure.”
“The current regime doesn’t want it either.”
“We did (talk to Triple H). He said no.”
