During a recent Q&A session on Twitter, a fan asked WrestleVotes (a source which has broken multiple WWE stories) about Drew McIntyre’s plans for WrestleMania 35.

Below is what WrestleVotes replied:

For those who don’t know, one of the plans that Vince McMahon originally had for WrestleMania 35 was to have McIntyre walk out of the show as the new Universal Champion. That’s why he was booked so strong last year. However, WWE officials have cooled off a little on McIntyre since the beginning of this year.

As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, McIntyre viciously assaulted Roman Reigns and it looks like we’re going to get Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35. If that is the case, then it’s almost a guarantee that McIntyre is going to lose clean to Reigns at WrestleMania.
