On this day in Pro Wrestling history on August 30, 1998, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WWF SummerSlam 1998’ LIVE on PPV from the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
Not only was the event’s Tagline “Highway to Hell”, that was also the name of the PPV theme song by AC/DC.

• Possible New Tag Team On SmackDown Live
WWE is developing women tag teams on the main roster lately. The IIconics debuted after WrestleMania 34, The Bella Twins will make their WWE TV in-ring return next week and it looks like WWE will be creating more teams in the future.
Naomi suffered two consecutive losses in two weeks against the IIconics. She might be looking for some help. According to the Fired Up podcast, WWE could be pairing former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi with another wrestler to create another tag team.
Word going on is that Naomi could either team up with Asuka or an NXT Call Up to the main roster.
WWE creating and bringing back women tag teams might be a hint that the company will soon introduce the rumored Women’s Tag Team Championship.
