So it’s quite possible that Kofi’s first challenger for the WWE Championship turns out to be the 13 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton.

Below are the results from this Live Event:

– Rowan def. Ali

– Kevin Owens def. Andrade (Braun Strowman lays out Andrade after the match)

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: RAW & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch (c) def. Charlotte Flair to retain the Title.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The IIconics (c) def. Naomi & Carmella and Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville to retain the Titles.

United States Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) def. R-Truth to retain the Title.

WWE Championship Match: Kofi Kingston (c) def. Randy Orton to retain the Title.

Speaking of Kofi, he’ll face Shinsuke Nakamura on this week’s SmackDown. Below is what WWE posted regarding this:

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston to battle Shinsuke Nakamura

“Last week on SmackDown LIVE, with Big E recovering from injury, Kevin Owens became the newest member of The New Day. He then helped WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods overcome Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.

This week, “Big O” and Woods will be at ringside when Kingston battles The King of Strong Style one-on-one.”
