• Possible Reason Behind WWE Contacting Khabib Nurmagomedov For An Appearance
Undefeated UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who destroyed Conor McGregor in the biggest fight in UFC history, revealed on Twitter that WWE has contacted him for an appearance.
Below is what Khabib tweeted:
@WWE ask me to jump inside.
What do you think guys? #SmashLesnar #FakeFights— khabib nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib) October 12, 2018
According to Ringside news, WWE contacted Khabib two months ago, not recently after UFC 229.
Also, the possible reason behind WWE contacting Khabib is that if WWE goes to Russia in 2019, then Khabib can be used to help the ticket sales as Khabib is considered one of the top sports stars in Russia.
