On this day in 1994, the World Wrestling Federation aired a promo of the recently Heel turned Owen Hart on the rivalry with his brother, Bret Hart.

• Possible Return Date For Kane
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, former WWF Champion Kane, who was most recently involved in the Universal Title picture on Raw, is most probably banged up and was written off WWE programming after last week’s Last Man Standing match on Raw.
Kane lost to Braun Strowman in the Last Man Standing match. An angle was done after the match where Kane was taken to a local medical facility, but he left before being examined according to the following storyline update from WWE:
“During Raw’s Last Man Standing Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, Braun Strowman upended the stage beneath the Raw announce desk, crushing Kane beneath it.
The Big Red Machine had difficulty breathing following the incident, and was rushed to a local medical facility. However, before Kane could be evaluated by medical personnel in the emergency room, he sat up on the examining table and crawled his way out of the medical facility. Kane has not been seen or heard from since.”
The Knox County election (in which Kane is competing) is coming up, so it doesn’t look like Kane will be back on WWE programming anytime soon, especially if he ends up winning.
His program with Strowman is reportedly over and Strowman will now focus on his WrestleMania 34 storyline soon.
In an update to this situation, WWE has removed Kane from upcoming WWE Live Events. However, he’s still scheduled for Live Events in March, so it’s possible he returns to WWE programming for a WrestleMania 34 program.
