• Major Shift In Betting Odds For Title Matches At Backlash 2018
5Dimes have posted the updated betting odds for tonight’s Backlash 2018 PPV and there are two shifts in major title matches.
WWE Champion AJ Styles & SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella are now the favourites to win their respective Title matches.
Below are the favourites to win their matches at tonight’s Backlash 2018 PPV:

• Backlash 2018 Main Event Plans Changed
According to WrestleVotes, the original plan for tonight’s Backlash 2018 PPV was for Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe to be the main event. However, that’s not the case anymore and AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a WWE Title No DQ match is expected to main event tonight’s show.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles is penciled in for the main event tomorrow night at Backlash. Samoa Joe v Roman Reigns was considered but plans that were originally discussed for that match were dropped therefore no sense in closing with it. I’m unsure of what those plans were.

It’s possible that Reigns vs. Joe for the Universal Title was being talked about as the main event of the show (if Reigns won the Universal Title at Greatest Royal Rumble), but Reigns still hasn’t won the Universal Title yet.
• Possible Spoiler For Tonight’s Backlash 2018 PPV
According to PWInsider, Edge & Christian are in Newark, New Jersey, which is the site of tonight’s Backlash 2018 PPV.
While this could mean that the duo might show up on the PPV, but they could also be there to film some content for the second season of the Edge & Christian show on the WWE Network.
