• Possible Spoiler On 3 NXT Stars As Surprise Entrants In The Royal Rumble
Every year, multiple NXT wrestlers end up as surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble matches. On this week’s NXT, 3 regular, top stars were missing from the show: NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice.
In a backstage segment, General Manager Ava was heard saying the following on the phone: “I’m aware the Rumble is Saturday, we have the deepest women’s division in the world, so whatever decision you make, I support it.”
This has begun speculation that Jacy, Sol, and Lola will be surprise entrants in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and that is the reason why they didn’t appear on this week’s LIVE episode of NXT – because the WWE roster is already in Saudi Arabia for the big weekend.
• Braun Strowman Hospitalized (Photo)
The Monster Among Men is facing a rough start to 2026, trading the wrestling ring for a hospital bed this week. Braun Strowman revealed he was rushed into emergency care due to a sudden and severe infection in his right knee.
Strowman took to Instagram to share his frustration, posting from his hospital room after an overnight stay. He described the infection as something that came out of nowhere, leaving him in significant pain and asking for prayers from his fans:
“Well spent the night in the hospital with an infection that came out of nowhere in my right knee. So I could use some prayers and well wishes. #ThisSucks #WhyMe #lol #painful #IGotThis #ThankYou #FeetAintFree.”

This health scare is just the latest blow in a string of bizarre bad luck for the star. Only two weeks ago, Strowman was involved in a car accident while test-driving his newly finished custom hatchback. Although his car was badly damaged in the rear-end collision, Strowman walked away with only a sore neck.
• AJ Lee Jokes About CM Punk’s WWE Dating History
AJ Lee knows exactly who she married, and she isn’t afraid to have a little fun with his past. During an episode of Hot Ones Versus, the former WWE Divas Champion turned a standard Mount Rushmore question into a hilariously awkward moment for her husband, CM Punk.
The segment took a turn when Punk, reading the question, jokingly asked AJ to name her “Six Grandfathers” instead, referencing the original name of the mountain before the faces were carved. AJ’s list was Chyna, Lita, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, herself, and Bayley, but she couldn’t help but notice a pattern.
Looking at the names, AJ joked, “You’ve dated a lot of these women, sorry. Is that awkward? You have very good taste.”

Out of AJ’s list, Punk has dated Lita and Beth in the past.
• Why WWE Won’t Do a PLE at Wembley Stadium
WWE is not expected to do a PLE at Wembley Stadium in the near future, with financial and market factors making such an event unlikely at this time. On WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select, it was explained that Wembley is currently viewed as AEW-focused territory, not because of exclusivity, but due to cost and business priorities.
The belief is that the financial demands associated with running Wembley do not align with WWE’s current approach, particularly when the company prefers host cities or venues to pay them big money to host the shows as part of larger tourism or event partnerships.
While there has been outside speculation about WWE bringing a major event to London, WrestleVotes indicated that Wembley is not realistically in play under the current circumstances. AEW’s established presence at the stadium has further reinforced that perception, making a WWE event there even less likely in the short term.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was mentioned as a more plausible alternative if WWE were to pursue a large-scale event in the UK. Although no specific plans have been heard regarding that venue, it is seen as a more flexible and financially realistic option compared to Wembley.
As things stand, WWE’s focus remains on venues and cities willing to meet their financial expectations, and Wembley Stadium does not appear to fit into those plans right now.
