• Possible Spoiler On Pat McAfee’s WWE Return
While Pat McAfee is signed to a multi-year WWE contract, he also signed a deal with ESPN to be a part of the College GameDay program on Saturday mornings.
This would’ve made travel very difficult for him, with SmackDown airing LIVE on Friday nights.
Triple H then told McAfee to focus on his ESPN gig and they’d have him back when he’s free.
According to Fightful Select, McAfee is expected to return to WWE programming soon, and it could happen as soon as tonight, now that we are officially on the road to WrestleMania 39:
“Several talent were speculating that they believe Pat McAfee could be back soon, with one saying they’d heard his name mentioned for the Royal Rumble.”
