At the AEW Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view, Jamie Hayter defeated Toni Storm to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Now, this Sunday at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 PPV, Hayter will defend the Title against Storm. Toni is now a heel wrestler and a part of The Outcasts stable along with Saraya (fka Paige in WWE) and Ruby Soho.

According to Sean Ross Sapp, Jamie is dealing with a legitimate right shoulder injury and Tony Khan might book a title change this Sunday:

“Jamie is hurt, she is hurt. I’m thinking that this whole division looks categorically different in 5 days.

I see the winds of change coming here, and I think we are in for some major change in this division all around.

You got Jamie banged up, they don’t want people not being able to defend when they got two shows. So, I’ve been leaning towards Toni for a while.”

On tonight’s pre-taped episode of AEW Rampage, The Outcasts will launch an attack on Jamie.
