• Possible Upcoming Plan For AEW Rampage

CZW Legend ‘Sick’ Nick Mondo was recently interviewed by WrestlingInc, where he talked about fellow hardcore wrestler Nick Gage making it to Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling two months ago, where Gage wrestled WWF Legend Chris Jericho in a deathmatch, even using a pizza cutter.

Mondo said AEW is planning to do more hardcore stuff on Rampage (their 1-hour Friday night show) and this might lead to Gage appearing in AEW again.

Here’s what he said:

“When we shot in the prison, that was just two days before he faced Jericho, so I got to kind of chat with him leading up to that. He was calm, and he was cool about it. Saw it as a real opportunity and it was.

I don’t know this, but I believe they might be doing a bit more of the hardcore stuff on Rampage, and so maybe you’ll see Gage again. I don’t know, but I believe they’re going to do some more of that.

But I think all of us are just so happy to see him get that opportunity.”

Nick Gage became famous to a worldwide fanbase, who had never heard of him before, earlier this year when he was featured on a season 3 episode of Dark Side of the Ring.
