According to WrestleVotes, 16 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena wants to do something substantial at WrestleMania 36 next year.
This year at WrestleMania 35, Cena had an in-ring segment with Elias, where he laid him out with an FU.
However, Cena wants to do something much more than that at the Show of Shows in 2020:
“Heard recently that John Cena wants to do something substantial at WrestleMania. More than just an appearance like last year. Cena resides within the Tampa area, seems like this Mania is important to him.”

According to Wrestlingnewsco, word going on backstage in WWE is that Cena is expected to wrestle at WrestleMania 36 and his opponent could be Lars Sullivan (if Sullivan can heal from his knee surgery in time).
It should be noted that Cena vs. Sullivan was originally planned to take place at WrestleMania 35, but it got cancelled because of Sullivan going home due to an anxiety attack.
