• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (September 8, 1984) – WWF Superstars of Wrestling
On this day in 1984, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.
This was the original third nationally syndicated show that later became known as “WWF Wrestling Spotlight” after the August 30, 1986 episode.
NOT to be confused with the famous weekly “WWF Superstars of Wrestling” TV show, that eventually took over WWF Championship Wrestling in September 1986 and ran until 1997 (before becoming a recap/highlights show that ran till 2001).

• Potential Spoiler On A Main Roster Wrestler Being A Part Of RETRIBUTION
After causing destruction on RAW and SmackDown over the past month, RETRIBUTION finally cut their first promo on this week’s episode of RAW.
The faction interrupted The Riott Squad vs. Nia Jax Handicap Match to cut the promo backstage.
We noted before that two NXT wrestlers were behind RETRIBUTION’s promo, as indicated by the pitched down audio of their promo (tap here to know more).
The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that one of the members of the faction is confirmed to be Mojo Rawley. It was also mentioned that there are five confirmed members now, which include Dominik Dijakovic, Mia Yim and Mojo Rawley.
The other two identities are unknown yet. While the five wrestlers who appeared on RAW are most likely a part of RETRIBUTION, there’s still a possibility that all of the previously mentioned names aren’t a part of the group, and are just being used to work the fans.
