8. Update On Upcoming WWE Women’s Tournament, Gallows & Anderson Getting Another Shot At Raw Tag Team Titles? Congratulations to Bayley
As we noted before, WWE is looking to do a women-exclusive tournament in 2017 (similar to tournaments like Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the Cruiserweight Classic).
The tournament will be held at the Full Sail University & WWE is interested in bringing in the following female wrestlers for this tournament:
– Rachel Ellering
– Kimber Lee
– Evie
– Nixon Newell
– Heidi Lovelace
– Deonna Purrazzo
As seen on last night’s Raw, The New Day successfully defended their Raw Tag Team Titles against Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. There have been talks of giving another Title shot to Gallows & Anderson. Below is what Anderson tweeted:
New Day’s Xavier Woods pulled my tights to beat us last night. We didn’t come to WWE, on these huge downsides, to be cheated like this.
Congratulations to Raw Superstar Bayley, who got engaged to her boyfriend Aaron Solow. Aaron is an indy wrestler.
