WWE Live News Blog (November 29, 2016) – Problems Between John Cena & WWE? Brock Lesnar In Royal Rumble 2017 Match, Very Bad News For TNA Viewership & More

Welcome to the WWE Live News Blog for today, November 29, 2016. All the WWE news & Professional Wrestling stories of the day will be reported in this live blog, so keep checking it throughout the day for the latest news from the world of WWE & Professional Wrestling.

1. The Charlotte – Sasha Saga Continues

In the main event of last night’s Raw, “The Boss” Sasha Banks captured her third Raw Women’s Championship after defeating Charlotte Flair in a No DQ – Falls Count Anywhere match.

This is the third time Sasha has defeated Charlotte to win the Title on Raw. WWE was billing this match as their last battle, but it looks like they’re going to go at it one more time where Charlotte gets her rematch, possibly at Roadblock: End of the Line PPV (last Raw exclusive PPV of 2016).

2 Time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair came out after the match and raised Sasha’s arm. Sasha & Charlotte originally weren’t the main event last night on Raw (as they fought earlier in the night but the match ended in a Double Count-Out).

2. Big Tag Team Match To Take Place Tonight on SmackDown Live

American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) will face Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton of the new Wyatt Family tonight on SmackDown Live.

The winners of this match will face Rhyno & Heath Slater for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles this Sunday at TLC 2016 (which is the final SmackDown Live exclusive PPV of 2016). Below is what WWE posted:

After battling their way through five other teams in a fierce Texas Turmoil on SmackDown LIVE last week, American Alpha must now go head-to-head with Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt tonight at 8/7 C, with the winner taking on SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs this Sunday.

Since the moment they made their SmackDown LIVE debut, Jason Jordan & Chad Gable have been out to prove that they are the best tandem on Tuesday nights.

However, can they stand tall against the rising scourge of The New Wyatt Family, still riding the horrific momentum from their huge victory in the 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men’s Elimination Match?
