• Randy Orton Open To Negotiating With All Elite Wrestling

WrestleVotes noted on Twitter that All Elite Wrestling has made an outstanding offer to a top WWE Superstar.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, this top WWE star is 13 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton.

However, AEW officials made it clear to Sean that they’re not doing contract tampering with WWE Superstars. Sean then noted that Orton is the one who’s open to negotiating a deal with AEW.

Below is what Sean said on the Fightful Post Show:

“Now they (WrestleVotes) did not reveal the name and I know who the name is. Now before I get into this, I am not saying that this person was offered an AEW deal. I’m not saying that happened because I don’t know if that happened.

In fact, I asked people in AEW about this and I was told, ‘We are not tampering. We are not doing that. Our approach is fresh and independent is the goal for a majority of our recruitment’. What you’re likely seeing is a particular agent trying to leverage more money out of WWE by possibly planting sh*t like this.

What I was told this afternoon, was that Randy Orton has been openly discussing his willingness to speak with All Elite Wrestling.”

With that being said, it’s very much possible that Orton is ‘pulling a Brock Lesnar’ here and trying to take more money from WWE by pulling the AEW card (similar to how Lesnar gets a better WWE deal by pulling the UFC card).
