Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Randy Orton and Kane:
• As we have reported before, Randy Orton is scheduled to return to WWE TV at Survivor Series 2023.
He is expected to be a part of Cody Rhodes’ WarGames team against Judgment Day.
There’s a rumor going on that Orton is going to win a major title as soon as he returns, but that’s not the case.
Fightful Select has confirmed that WWE doesn’t have any plans for Orton winning a title as of this writing.
If Randy wrestles at Survivor Series (last WWE PLE of 2023), he’ll continue his 20-year streak of having at least 1 PPV/PLE match every year since 2003.
Randy Orton was last seen on WWE TV on the May 20th 2022 episode of SmackDown, where him and Matt Riddle lost the RAW Tag Team Championship to The Usos in a Title Unification Match.
Orton has been training at the WWE Performance Center for a while now.

• Former WWF Champion Kane (Glenn Jacobs) was interviewed by SK Wrestling, where he talked about the current landscape of WWE. Below are the highlights:
Vince McMahon selling WWE to Endeavor:
“It was surprising to me, too. In the end, Vince always does what’s best for business. So I think, from a big-picture perspective, it’s a great thing for everybody and the benefit for all of our fans, and in the end, that’s what it’s all about.”
Triple H being WWE’s head booker:
“I’m a huge fan. Triple H has the best wrestling mind of anybody. So, I’m really looking forward to seeing what the product is moving forward.”
