• Fans Think Paige Just Teased A WWE Return
As we noted yesterday on our WrestleFeed App, it’s been 8 years since Saraya / Paige wrestled her last WWE match. She was only 25 years old when she was forced to retire after her neck injury.

Also yesterday, Saraya appeared at Insane Wrestling Revolution and she came out to her WWE theme song “Stars in the Night.”

Tonight, Saraya tweeted the following:
“8 years yesterday from when I thought my career was over during a Uniondale house show. What a ride it’s been since. Grateful for my health, family, friends and fans. You truly keep me going! My noodle neck is as strong as ever haha
Can’t wait for what 2026 has in store ❤️⚡️”
After this tweet, fans have begun speculating that Saraya might be returning to WWE very soon, especially since the Royal Rumble is a month away.
Saraya came out of retirement in 2022 in AEW, but hasn’t wrestled in WWE since that incident. Saraya went on to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship and last wrestled in 2024.
After leaving All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, Saraya noted that she’d love to return to WWE at WrestleMania 42, but she made that comment because WrestleMania 42 was scheduled to take place in New Orleans at that time, which is where she made her WWE main roster debut.

• Big Update On Chris Jericho & Possible WWE Return Date
For months, Chris Jericho has been noticeably absent from All Elite Wrestling programming, and that silence has only fueled questions about what lies ahead. His last AEW appearance came back in April 2025, when he publicly voiced frustration with Big Bill and Bryan Keith after losing the ROH World Championship and then walked away.
In an update, Alex McCarthy of Wrestling Intel is reporting that Jericho’s AEW contract is set to expire on December 31st, and that a lot of people in AEW expect him to return to WWE.
McCarthy also reported that WWE officials are considering bringing back Jericho on the January 5th edition of RAW, instead of Royal Rumble 2026 in Saudi Arabia on January 31st.
After this report came out, Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated reported that his sources also believe Jericho will show up on WWE programming very soon.
Jericho was last seen in WWE at the Greatest Royal Rumble 2018 PLE, which was WWE’s first premium live event in Saudi Arabia. Jericho competed in the 50-man Royal Rumble match that night and lost.
Last night, Jericho went live on YouTube. During the stream, a fan message caught Jericho’s attention, recalling watching his 1999 WWF debut and expressing hope that he might one day return to WWE. Jericho didn’t shut the idea down: “You never know. You never know.”
Below is the card for the January 5th RAW, which is the one-year Netflix anniversary show:
– World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Bron Breakker
– Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Becky Lynch
– WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Rhiyo (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY)
– Crossover with Stranger Things
