Raw Champion Injured, Jimmy Snuka’s Death Anniversary

RAW IS WAR

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (January 15, 2017) – A WWF Legend Passed Away

On this day in 2017, we lost Old School WWF Legend “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka (Real name: James Reiher Snuka) at the age of 73 due to terminal illness.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear, the guy was a great legend and a very deserving WWE Hall of Famer (which contrary to false online reports, he still is for a fact) and whether he was actually guilty of murdering his 1983 girlfriend Nancy Argentino, we will never know. And that includes each and everyone of you out there.

Don’t believe for one second, that just because you read stuff in a book, on social media or in dirt-sheets, that you have the same knowledge, that a federal judge would have needed a fair & extensive trial to get it. That’s not possible in any way, shape or form whatsoever.

Did he do it? It does look like he did it, but we will never know for sure. Period. We rather stick with the facts here, as opposed to believe rumors, opinions & biased reports.

So with that being said, let’s please remember him for the great Wrestling Legend that he was on TV.

R.I.P. JIMMY SNUKA!

• Raw Champion Injured

Raw Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan didn’t work Friday’s WWE Live Event in Amarillo, Texas. According to PWInsider, he didn’t work the event because he is injured. No word yet on what kind of injury he suffered.

Jordan and his tag team partner, Seth Rollins, are currently scheduled to defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) at Royal Rumble 2018 PPV.

Below is what posted about Jordan & Rollins ahead of tonight’s Raw:

Can Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan get on the same page before the Royal Rumble event?

“Based on their defeat in this past Monday’s six-man main event, it’s clear that Jason Jordan still has much to learn from Seth Rollins about being a team player. However, given that the unlikely partners are defending their Raw Tag Team Titles against Cesaro & Sheamus at the Royal Rumble event, Professor Rollins might have to accelerate his curriculum.

As Jordan’s impetuousness remains an issue, can The Kingslayer turn the “gold-blooded” Superstar into a true partner before their title defense?”

Speaking of the WWE Live Event that Jordan missed, below are the results from that event:

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Enzo Amore (c) def. Cedric Alexander to retain the Title.

– The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) def. The Titus Brand (Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews)

– Sasha Banks & Mickie James def. Nia Jax & Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss

– Braun Strowman def. Curt Hawkins

– Asuka def. Dana Brooke

– Finn Balor def. Elias

– WOKEN Matt Hardy def. Bray Wyatt

2 on 3 Handicap Match: Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns & Raw Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins def. The Miz & Miztourage (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas)
