RAW Results – Controversial Finish To The Main Event

Below are the complete results from tonight’s WWE RAW.

– Judgment Day kicked off RAW and they were interrupted by R-Truth. Truth expressed that last week’s beatdown was his initiation. He proposed settling their issues in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. JD McDonagh informed Truth that the match was already signed, and he wasn’t part of Judgment Day. Truth suggested a loser leaves Judgment Day match, which received mixed reactions from the others, with Damian Priest finding it amusing and Rhea Ripley expressing opposition.

– R-Truth def. JD McDonagh in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight

This means McDonagh will have to leave Judgment Day.

– Nia Jax announced her entry into the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Becky Lynch interrupted her, expressing a desire for a fight. Nia claimed others were afraid of what she would do in a one-on-one match. Becky challenged her, stating that losing to her would tarnish Nia’s reputation. Nia agreed to the challenge but set the match for her hometown, San Diego, CA, on the Day 1 edition of RAW on January 1st. As Nia walked away, she threatened to break Becky’s face. Becky retaliated by attacking Nia from behind, leading to a scuffle broken up by officials.

– Gunther (c) def. The Miz to retain the Intercontinental Championship

– In a backstage segment, Gunther told Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci that he’s stepping away for a few weeks to recharge.

– Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura read “The American Nightmare Before Christmas”, where he said the following about Cody Rhodes:

“You bastard, you cancer, you prancer, you nitwit. You’re vomit, you’re stupid, your Father was inbred!”

Cody attacked Nakamura during this segment and they brawled all the way to the ring, until security separated them.

– Bronson Reed approached RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to ask about Gunther’s next challenger for the Intercontinental Title.

– Kayden Carter & Katana Chance def. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (c) to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

– Ivar def. Akira Tozawa

– Drew McIntyre interrupted World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins’ promo in the ring and said he’s proud of Rollins for not turning a blind eye and refusing to kiss CM Punk’s a$$ last week.

McIntyre then got emotional while talking about how much family time he has sacrificed to make his career work and that some of his loved ones have passed away during his journey. McIntyre said he needs to win the World Title at Day 1 and he’s willing to hurt Seth to get it.

Rollins said the only person keeping Drew away from winning the World Heavyweight Title is Drew himself. A brawl broke out, which ended with Drew hurting Seth’s arm by driving him into the steel ring steps.

– Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest let JD McDonagh remain a part of Judgment Day.

– Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest) (c) def. The Creed Brothers to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Rhea Ripley attacked Ivy Nile during this match at ringside, but Ivy laid out Mami.

The match had a controversial finish, as it looked like Julius Creed kicked out. You can watch it below:
